By any standards Table Mountain is one of the world's great sights, towering as it does over South Africa's mother city of Cape Town. The ocean comes lapping right up to the beaches near the foothills of the mountain.

This late afternoon/early evening tour gives you an opportunity to check out scintillating views while munching on a picnic dinner and watching the sun go down over the ocean!

You will be picked up at your hotel and taken to the cable car station at the foot of the mountain. On the way you will stop for a brief tour of Signal Hill, at the base of Table Mountain, and an opportunity to admire the panoramas from there.

The cable car will take you to the top of the mountain, as you enjoy the plunging 360 degree vistas out of the windows. At the top you will stroll around as your guide points out some of the city's landmarks far below. Photo opportunities are endless.

There is a souvenir shop and a restaurant at the top.

Just before the sun goes down your guide will unpack a picnic, while you watch the ever changing hues of the sun over the city and the ocean below!
